I took the engine out of my 72 1.7 yesterday to begin my restoraton project. If I want a 2.0 do I need different injectors to go with the 2.0 heads? what about pushrods? same length? can my d-jet run the 2.0 or am I gonna have to replace all that stuff with L-Jet ( insane $$ since the engine ran when I took it out)
Thanks for any pointers warrenpoirsche |

Here is a link to a site that you can visit for many of your answers:
http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders/DJetP...m#Compatibility Basically it works like this- Either keep the 1.7 ltr. stock with F.I., or upgrade to a completely different 2.0 ltr. set up. When it is all said and done, you will be better off to purchase a complet unit that has been running "recently". Just my $.02 Good luck! |
