Decided to try to reupholster my door panels.
Got some nice felt lined vinyl that looks pretty much like the very top portion of door panels. here are a few pics of the results. I am using original RS America door pulls. Will securely attach them thru panels into metal of door with original items from door panels. Turned out pretty well for about an hour and about $20 for vinyl and 3M upholstery adhesive. That's what I thought. I don't think it will get that hot. Didn't the factory 6GT cars have carpet directly attached to the firewall?
