I dont have a battery tray right now. I'm going to buy one and weld it in if an optima gel battery will fit on it. If not I'll just fab my own. Well, will it fit? BTW I did a search and turned up nothing battery related.

I was thinking about the same thing. Now knowing the battery acid will eat away at the battery tray and other things. Will the Optima battery since it's sealed do the same thing a regular car battery will do, i.e. battery acid eat away the metal?
