hi guys,
I am having my leather wrapped steering wheel recovered, instead of guten tight, does anyone know the torque for the nut. thanks joe |

I just crank it down with a pretty big 1/2 inch drive. Not as tight as it should be- which is prolly about 80 ft-lbs
edit- really just 40? OK.... For my BMW that recently removed the wheel on, I think I remember seeing that 80 figure. |
