Actually you can blame Randal for the cooler, fan and shroud. I bought it from him in it's current configuration. Just seemed like the most straight forward solution to me. Only using parts I already had and not having to do a bunch of fabricating. If venting through the floor was good enough for the factory 914-6 GTs then I guess my solution is along those lines. I am going to be using my spare tire cover to seal the bottom of the trunk. I will be placing seals around the periphery to completely close off that area of the trunk. I will then fab up some latches to hold it in place. Lower space of the trunk will become nothing but air in the front and air out the bottom. I will also still be able to use a portion of the trunk to haul items to the track. |
