Hi Dan,

Tricia and I will be at the Buttonwillow event 4/15-16! Can't wait to see your car up close

Your oil cooler design seemed so familiar.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif)

I couldn't put my finger on it.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

Then it hit me!

Is this where you got the fan?

Greg,
yea, between you and Randal....so my car is either a hover craft or a low budget Chapparral...or maybe that is the same thing??

Actually you can blame Randal for the cooler, fan and shroud. I bought it from him in it's current configuration.

Just seemed like the most straight forward solution to me. Only using parts I already had and not having to do a bunch of fabricating. If venting through the floor was good enough for the factory 914-6 GTs then I guess my solution is along those lines.
I am going to be using my spare tire cover to seal the bottom of the trunk.
I will be placing seals around the periphery to completely close off that area of the trunk. I will then fab up some latches to hold it in place. Lower space of the trunk will become nothing but air in the front and air out the bottom. I will also still be able to use a portion of the trunk to haul items to the track.
