There were some pics posted in another thread of a 914 in Germany, I think, that had a Boxster muffler. I liked it! Has anyone here done that or know anything about the installation?

Stock Boxster muffler is a boat anchor....much heavier than a stock 914 set up.
I replaced my Boxsters stock muffler with a polished SS Dansk sport muffler 3 years ago. The Dansk weighs like 1/2 as much as the stocker. If I were going to try a Boxster muffler...gut it first to lighten and open up the sound. Stock Boxster muffler is very well muffled....as in too much.
