There were some pics posted in another thread of a 914 in Germany, I think, that had a Boxster muffler. I liked it! Has anyone here done that or know anything about the installation?

I replaced my Boxsters stock muffler with a polished SS Dansk sport muffler 3 years ago. The Dansk weighs like 1/2 as much as the stocker.
If I were going to try a Boxster muffler...gut it first to lighten and open up the sound. Stock Boxster muffler is very well muffled....as in too much. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

I was going to say chucking stock muffler on the Boxster was one of the best ways to get rid of weight. Putting one on a 914 should be a crime.
