Does anyone know if this will fit or has been attempted - installing a water cooled VW engine in a 914? Thanks!

Same thing as the 1.8t as far as mounts - the block is the same. I was going to swap in my hopped up 2.0 16V VW from my old track rabbit and I came to my senses and went to a Subaru. It makes more power stock that the 16V in max output street form - that 500cc really helps the Suby. The much better head design helps too. And it's lighter, cheaper, more reliable and has way more perfomance parts available. Want to buy a hopped up 16V VW???? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) |
