I hope that I am not repeating this on our site, but yesterday I was at the book store and saw a small photo of a 914 in the top left hand corner of a magazine. Of course I had to pick it up and see what it was about.
Subie Sport Mag does a nice article on Dana Stokes 914 WRX powered street racer. Great photos and I really like the way they did the tach Here are some of the photos. Enjoy Quilmes Attached image(s)

Indeed it does... I bought an 06 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Even though Subaru still "claims" the HP rating is 230, all the ads I've read say that the 06 performs at around the 240-250 HP range. I believe it.... I must have driven over a dozen pre-2006 WRXs, and the torque/acceleration just wasn't there like it is in mine. The mags are all speculating that Subaru did that intentionally, because why would someone spend $10K more on an STI, for only 50-55 HP?? I guess they figure for 70HP, its worth it.. I dunno. Either way..... dumbass kids will be wrecking the 06s in no time flat... the engines will be popping up on eBay any day now--LOL |
