Over the past couple of months I pulled the headlight assemblies, replaced the doors, front and rear lids with GT Racing's fiberglass parts. On Saturday I did a corner balance and the final weight with me in the car, all driving gear, full tank of gas and my cool shirt cooler full was 2230 pounds. Before the reduction it was 2513 with the same setup. Not bad since the car was originally all steel with late model doors and a six.

Same here. I've been wondering about the headlights and motors lately and if I should remove them. John, do you have fog lights. I know there have been a few times we came in off the track at the end of a winter event in the dark and that makes me think I want some kind of lights. |
