I realize there are not a lot of 914's out there, but it seems like you could make up a dye or whatever they call it to stamp them out and knock out a bunch of them. They do SS stuff for old 911's and Bugs, so why not. Perhaps if enough of us bombarded them with requests they would do it; any thoughts?

Between this, and the damn windshield frame seal, I am starting to wish I had better fabrication skills.

Many 914 owners are either on a limited budget

Going racing....so using headers

Restoring car for show and want OE as much as possible.

Lots of SSIs out there in circulation...just need to keep looking.

I just sold a set not more than 3 weeks ago to a member of this board.

I am sure with todays manufacturing costs and materials, a set of SSIs would be in the neighborhood of $1500. Doubtful many teener drivers would pony up that kind of cash for them My $.02
