I realize there are not a lot of 914's out there, but it seems like you could make up a dye or whatever they call it to stamp them out and knock out a bunch of them. They do SS stuff for old 911's and Bugs, so why not. Perhaps if enough of us bombarded them with requests they would do it; any thoughts?
Between this, and the damn windshield frame seal, I am starting to wish I had better fabrication skills. |

You misunderstand, I took the valence off, cleaned it up and painted it and installed it with nice shiny hardware. The exhaust for the bug was painted and then installed. Still actually looks decent after 15 years, more grey than black, but not rusty.
