When I connect either one of the horns directly to a battery with a jumper cable I get no sound at all. Switching polarity doesn't help. Do I have 2 bad horns??? I want to install my front bumper soon so I need to figure out what the problem is. How do you test and/or repair these?

Should the horn sound when connected directly to a 12 volt battery or am I missing something?

There is also an adjustment screw. try turning it in and out while hooked up to power. Once I got it to work it scared the BEE Geebies out of me. them little horns are LOUD.

light whacking also works. just put some ear plugs in so you don't piss your pants when it all of a sudden HONKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/av-943.gif)
