Another safety minded 914 owner has asked that I add two safety chain tabs to his bar to allow for easy cafety chain hookup. This sure beats the basic idea of wrapping the chains around the crossbar. I am glad to do this, but there is a slight added cost for the weldment. Attached are a couple of pictures of this option for review.
Thanks Steve for your idea and after the paint drys today, your bar will be on its way. You will find the placement of the tabs is easy to get to from either side and also well away from your 916 nose. Attached image(s) ![]() |
