(Piggybacking on the "how much have you spent" poll from yesterday...)
This morning I attented a lecture on "Inter-Generational Diversity in the Workplace". More specifically, someone explaining the differences between the 4 generations currently existing in American culture. She made a point to say that Baby Boomers do the least amount of saving, due to their affinity with expensive material possesions, including "those fancy restored cars". Shame on your boomers! It sounds like she was making some kind of anti-capitalism statement, sorta like she got left behind, and this is her way of justifing where she's "at" in life.
