205/65/15 may be too tall for the rear wheel well, may rub and blister your paint.
195/65/15 fits just fine, no rubbing. The rear wheel wells on a 914 don't often have the same width. When I put on 205's, one side fit fine, the other didn't. I had to roll the fender to keep from rubbing. I just put a set of 195/65/15's on my 6. I like them. I'm not bottoming out on parking lot barriers, rpm on the engine dropped 500, and I may even get better gas milage. My speedo is off by 5mph, I had it calibrated for 205/50/15's. Haven't really noticed a difference in performance, it still scoots. Stock on my 6 was 165/65/15 on steel wheels, I've still got them. So if you like them, go with them, it's your car, your money.
