The car I just picked up came with 5 lug Fuchs and almost new tires. In my personal parts inventory, I have everything to do GT flares. I know I could always unload the 6's and get the right size wheels. But I am curious, would it be a terrible plan to use the 6" Fuchs with large spacers to fill out the flares? My gut feeling says it is, but I am looking for other opinions.

other than the visuals there's no real downside to doing so ...
but you'll need a lot of spacer and mighty long wheelstuds, especially in the front. the factory ran 7" wheels in the front with 1" spacer and still had about 1" left under the flares ... in the front, i run 7" cookie cutters with 100mm wheel studs and 2" spacers to get them fill out the flares nicely. i would think it would look "odd" with a 6" rim ...
