I installed a 3 RD brake light under the roll-bar which is really almost invisible until its on. Trying to keep the SUV's away. The unit is from a late 90s Suburban and uses very bright LED's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)

I want to install a 3rd brake light ASAP. This seems to be the way to go. What modification/cutting/drilling is necessary to the targa bar to mount the light? I didn't see anything about that on Demick's install page.

I am actually doing this right now .. there are few ways of doing it and I am still playing w/ new ideas .. most of my issues have come up about how to route the wires... just the basic install is 3 screw holes .. one on either end that are on the light and one that you create in the middle of the light to make the light conform to the curve of the targa bar ...

I am playing with an idea fo making a mounting plate across the enitre under side of the targa bar so that it mounts to the accory holes under there( no extra holes in your car) and it is a good easy way to hide the wires .. a work in progress.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
