A few more steps completed on my way to final paint!
I stripped the underside to bare metal, primed with metal etch and then used a product from U-pol for undercoating. It's actually a urethane based bedliner material and has a little sound deadening quality to it. Best part is I think it will outlast fossil fuels before it ever rusts again! Great pics and ALOT of effort....
It's amazing how much time is spent cutting, welding, filling, sanding before the paint is finally applied. I go by the 90/10 rule, 90% of my time is spent on 10% of the project, then 10% of my time is spent on 90% of the project, ie, putting the stuff back together....
