it's popping fuse 9, it does'nt do right away. volt meter will start at 12 and slowly creep down and blow the fuse. i've checked all circuts and it seems like the voltage reg might be intermitant. when the fuse is blown there is no charge to the batt.
any thoughts? |

Here is the list of fused items on S9 for a 1974... The AAR also causes fuses to pop if the power wire shorts... you missed one! the culprit was the backup light switch,the sheath is cracked at the tranny and was full of water, pulled the boot off and wires [ stank of of electric smoke] all good now. now here's the rub, is hasn't rained in about a week and a half or better, and it was an intermitant problem. |
