My 74 is at that point where it is time to sandblast the tub. But this one Iam

doing in Riverside, Calif. Does anyone know a sandblaster in this area that

dosen't think he's useing gold to blast it. Thanks.

you will NEVER I say NEVER get all the sand out. It is being forced into every single tiny crack, and even blowing compressed air will not get it all out. My dad restores antique tractors (yeah..redneck) also, and he had one sandblasted before painting..keep in mind that that was over SIX years ago. This tractor also is not a beauty queen, and my dad actually uses it (sometimes)...but back to the point. It still has sand coming out of crack after that long....and there are not that many places for sand to hide on a tractor...multiply that by like a million on a 914.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) with the above posts. Soda or walnut blasting would be better. The best would be acid dipping...but expensive.
