I want to paint the sails on my 914 a flat or satin textured black has anyone done this and if so what kind of paint did you use?

I got carbon fiber front and back hood so the sail and engine hatch will be glossy black. I might even do the window frame area up to the plastic fender seals. I'd say glossy black as much as you can. If you are doing it yourself, use some good automotive paint with hardener and such, apply it with a roller and cross hatch with a natural bristle (sable) brush. Apply a couple/three of this base coat and then finish smooth with compound, polish. I just saw this on a rice burner and it looked sharp.
