Any idea what´s the weight savings on:
1) 21mm hollow torsion bars vs. 21mm solid bars. Who makes a good hollow 21mm bar for the 914-4? 2) 19mm front sway bar vs. hollow front sway bar. My current bar is a Weltmeister...which hollow bar would be a good substitute? 3) OE rocker panels vs. FG rocker panels? 4) Odyssey battery vs. a standard (DieHard in my case) battery? What other items could be easily replaced for weight saving purposes?? |

hey ricky,
didn't know there was another 914 guy around here replacing the glass with lexan is a huge weight savings, maybe 70 pounds or so. If you are building a race car its a great idea and safer too. |
