Doing a routine post event inspection, I found a crack in my drilled Zimmermann front rotors. Pretty much like this example
(IMG:http://www.powerslot.com/images/productpages/moreinfo12.jpg) I know this is nothing out of the ordinary and I usually just replace them. However as Einstein noted (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" So considering ways to not keep replacing cracked rotors, I've noticed that alot of vendors are now listing the Power Slot Rotors (IMG:http://images.autoanything.com/images/products/large/brakes/power_slot_cryo.jpg) Anyone using these? Any feedback either positive or negative? |

Any feedback either positive or negative? I used Power Slot on my 240Z a few years ago... Not sure what I have on there now... Hmmm maybe I have lost interest? Anyway, I used their cross drilled rotors and had them cryogenically treated. I never had problems with them. I noticed the slotted models but they came out with these after I had purchased the cross drilled ones. Check with Eric Shea. I think he may be a dealer for these... Rob |
