greetings,
i have a later 'side shift' tranny in my 71. i believe it should be a tail-shifter. is this correct? if so, are the shift levers different for each type of tranny? i looked at a 73 on Wed and the lever appeared to have more bend i to it. thank you Robin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

Different levers, yup. The 73+ is different from the 70-72; I believe the attachment at the bottom of the shift lever is different among other things.
