If I were to indulge in the dark side... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)
and I wanted to buy a 911 Targa, what years should I avoid & what years
should I consider to be more desireable & why??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Get an SC with the 3.0 engine...rock solid! You might be able to find a bargain 3.2 Carrera for under 15k if you look hard and long enough. An SC should be easy to find in great shape for under 15k. 2.7's are known for having head stud issues...but alot of them are probably fixed by now so if you run across a 2.7, ask if the head studs have been redone. If they haven't..plan on having that done in your purchase price.
