Had a weird issue trying to update (replace) an existing avatar.
It picked up the new width and height I entered, but it kept the old JPEG. I entered a new image in the upload filename box (using the browse button) but it didn't seem to upload the new image. Got around it by using the URL instead, and putting the new JPEG on my web server. |

this is prolly a browser issue...
the avatar image is called av-##.jpg (or .gif) the ## stands for your member number Geoff i.e. is member #24 and his avatar is called av-24.jpg Now, if you upload a new avatar. That pic will have the same file name as the old avatar Your browser reads the same filename for the pic and shows you the cached pic instead of reloading your new one Cheers, Jeroen |
