I am new to 914s and have a 73 2.0. Looks like there is a rear trunk light which is a self-contained unit. Is this correct, and where does one purchase the rear trunk light?

Is this correct, and where does one purchase the rear trunk light? are you sure it's burned out? it doesn't have a switch and comes on with the headlights ... yes, your trunk is lit while you cruise down the freeway at night ... i guess they didn't want the targa top to get scared in the dark ...
