Car hasn't been on the road in awhile, but I'm working at getting it road worthy again. I've been staring at a detached vacuum hose, trying to figure out where it goes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
Connects the distributor to who knows what. Haynes doesn't help me out on this one. It's a 1974 1.8 L-jet. Thanks in advance. - Bryan Attached thumbnail(s)

nice camera...
nice pic. I don't know L-jet, but hope to learn. my uneducated guess is throttle body. the vacuum pot on the distributors assist with advance/retard. later D-jet lines were left unused, and like I said I don't know L-jet so that may be the case with yours... however, that doesn't look like a factory plug so I'm guessing its not supposed to look like that. some PO did that. pull the aircleaner and check the TB brant |
