I have looked and every install I have been able to find of FG hoods or trunk lids have included pins or straps to secure the corners. I really like the weight savings but I want the lids to appear stock - I don't want pins in the corners.

Anyone installed FG lids w/o the pins? If so, how 'bout some pics and who made them.

Thanks.

If you buy a 'street' f/g hood and not a race hood they should come with provisions to attach the stoch hardware to the hood. They'll have embedded nuts for the hinges and for the latch at the front.

It can be done.
