I have looked and every install I have been able to find of FG hoods or trunk lids have included pins or straps to secure the corners. I really like the weight savings but I want the lids to appear stock - I don't want pins in the corners.
Anyone installed FG lids w/o the pins? If so, how 'bout some pics and who made them. Thanks. |

Hood pins are cool if you don't mind someone looking inside every now and again; ain't the best theft protection. I like hood pins in the back lid since you can put the Porsche reflector on and not have to worry about getting a mechanical or electrical latch release device. They also have a great rac e look as well as being 100% hood schmak proof at excessive speeds.
