How do you attach a fiberglass fender to a car? Is the fender a full fender or is it mostly a partial so you have to cut away the metal fender and graft in the FB in the resultant hole? Pictures?

Here's a little advice or at least something to think about.
Change all the bolt-on pieces to f/g. (bumpers, trunk lids, roof, rocker panels). I say this because they are easy to do and have a big impact on weight. You can change all this in a matter of hours if you have the pieces. If you go into changing complete quater panels it will take a long time to do it yourself or some coins to have someone else do it. It will add months to your project. Get the car on the road and drive it. Than see if you reallly need to go the complete f/g fender route. Paul |
