this is different than cars, but I imported a $4500 motorcycle from japan to CA and the taxation duty fee stuff (I forgot how much) was going to be minimal. of course the port of oakland impounded the bike and sent it back for other reasons. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
oh yeah, it cost $500 to ship the motorcycle, so figure a car is going to be quite a bit more. |
