one of my buddies has been looking into doing a v8 conversion. he has no problem with the engine part, but is worried about losing handling if he decides to do it? for those of you with experience with v8's, how do they handle?

I have recently seen a Vanagon with a Subaru 3.3l out of the SVX transplanted in it, that thing hauls! Now I wonder if it wil fit in the teener?? If ultimate weight saving for the 350 is the goal opt for the all aluminum LS series from the C5 Vette. Bring lots of cash.
