I now have a good F.I. to replace the Sh--ie 2bl. carb. While I have every thing taken off the top of the engine, I thought I would remove the engine tin to powder coat them and detail the engine. The Ques. is can that be done without removing the engine? I know there are some pretty big pieces, will they go through the engine lid area,if I remove it . Need imput! It is possible to take all the engine tin off. You just have to make sure you get to all of the screws. Some are clearly visible and others are not, there are a few that have to be taken off with a stubby screw driver.
