My new work ride. Built by E-One in Florida Has all the goodies. Bostic air ride seat, Michellins, cold weather package, air and dual air horns mounted in the bumper. dual action steering, 75' ladder, 1000 gpm pump. 10,000 Watt built in generator with pole lights. Goes around corners like a 11' tall truck, almost 40' long. The only complaint is it doesn't like to back up an incline with fresh powder snow. Cost $500,000 US
It may not be a Auto X contender, but it can go thru red lights and photo radar easily. Makes rush hour traffic a breese. Duh...forgot the picture....... |

Nope rear wheel drive only. Same drive train as a Kenworth.
We are getting a specialty unit in 2 weeks built on a F350 4 X 4 frame. It mainly for grass/brush fires, so we can drive and put them out at the same time. Some departments have a "ride along" policys. You have to sign a waver, but get to go to a few calls. |
