I'm not really a mechanic.
But I did manage to find my brake switch and reattach the wire that had come loose. Now I have brake lights again! And I learned the hard way that the firewall/board thingie/whatever it's called (manual's in the car and I can't remember but you all know what I'm talking about) comes off & goes on a whole hell of a lot easier if you just remove the rubber covers from your clutch & brake pedals. D'OH. Also, breasts? The kind you gentlemen display such a fondness for around here? They're a serious liability when a girl's trying to access her pedal cluster. I don't know whose bright idea it was to put the e-brake lever on the left side of the driver's seat, but I'd like to have a stern word with him. OUCH. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) All things considered, it was a simple fix. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. |
