My 1972 914 is listing to
one side. In other words, the driver's side is noticeably lower than the passenger side -- over one inch. Any suggestions as to what it could be and how to fix it? Thanks. |

Thanks to all. No rust. [Honest.] That's why I bought it last fall. When I took it to a mechanic [of course, after I bought it] to check her over, he told me it probably rolled at some point. Maybe that's it but I'll check out your other suggestions. I've tackled the tranny, am rebuilding the carbs, will be putting in a new master cylinder when it finally warms up here [I will not try to bleed brakes when its below freezing], putting the exhaust system back together, and will have to do some rewiring... but...I don't know anything about the suspension. Can you give a newbie some pointers? Thanks
