As I have been restoring my car, one of the issues has been getting good trim so I have started noticing certain things. The rubber sits on top of the trim. The trim has a coating (I believe bright dip anodize). Many of the trim pieces I have looked at have the coating rubbed clear through even with a factory "fuzz coated" gasket that slides much easier. Something to consider. I opted for an OEM seal with the soft coating to protect the nice trim I found. It's really not just a squeek issue but a friction issue as well....If that's not a concern, go with the cheaper versions and save some $$....
