I am refurbishing my fog lights, the shinny chrome reflector material is flaking - is there a "spray" type of paint that would work if I had the old material removed?

I have another option to your refurbishing driving lights dilemma… I have refurbished a lot of 914 driving lights, what I like to do is refurbish the outer housing and then use a sealed beam halogen lamp instead of the stock lens and reflector housing. Even though I am a novice - I like to tinker w/ stuff. I will be doing exactly what you have done, w/ the exception of using the halogen lamp you use. I'm tracking this thread in the event I change my mind or I can recommend your service to other people. By the way, just got back from the SF this past week, spend new years in Lake Tahoe. I use to live on Pine & Powell - maaaannnnyyy years ago. The place continues to amaze me.
