Hey allMy name is mike, I’ve been a member of 914world (914club) since march 2005 when my son Kenny (a.k.a. orange914) bought his first 914. at present he owns an early 1973 that is a keeper. This is why I’m researching this particular 914 From what I’ve learned the first 1000 1973 914’s were slated for the European market but sent to the U.S. due to early 73 demand. They have some unique features that I’m attempting to research. I contacted a few members earlier on this but had my computer crash and lost all info. If you have ANY info. On this car or have noticed any oddities drop a line. Please e-mail me Thanks, mike (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) 209-537-3749 My e-mail address is: orange914@yahoo.com |

I have 4732907132,
also has early doors with late mechanism Car is in Canada now but was told it was bought in Germany I have repair receipts from very early mileage showing work performed on the car in Germany. Car was then owned by a doctor stationed in a Canadian armed forces camp. I wonder when they made the switch from early to reinforced doors ???
