(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) How does the stock steering wheel come apart? Bought one on eBay, read the thread about modifying a 4 to fit a 6, can't figure out how it comes apart. Specifically, removing the horn pad from the wheel, w/out damaging anything? Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

I believe you can grab the wheel with your left hand, grap the horn pad with your right hand (or vice versa), and twist the horn pad counterclockwise while keeping the weel straight. The horn pad should twist about 1/8 turn, then pulls off. There should be a wire connecting the pad to the column (for the horn). Then there is a 22mm (I think) nut that holds the wheel to the shaft.

i'm pretty sure it's a 27 mm nut.
i use an SAE 1 1/16 socket to take it off.
