I was surfing and ran across this link.
http://encycl.opentopia.com/term/Porsche_114 Reading, I am thinking is this the 1st ever Porsche car built personally by Porsche. Get this. Mid engine but water cooled. Wonder where the working drawings or prints are. |

I didn't see it with a quick google search, but didn't a type-c just go up for auction or for sale recently and they thought it would be the most expensive car exchange to date? I don't think I ever heard what happened with that, but I swear it was either an AU type-c or type-d designed by Porsche. The 1939 Auto Union Typ D V12 was determined to not be the French GP winner, rather a runner-up in that race. After the correct provenance was established, Christie's accepted sealed bids for it but apparently the minimum bid was not reached so the AU was not sold. It's sure to appear at a later date. I guess my $51,000. bid was not enough to secure it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . I mean, who's gonna work on it and it's not like you can find parts on eBay for it.
