ok, so I started to pull apart the motor to replace the base shims..
where is all this oil coming from? my head nuts were loose, I think the oil was coming from the head stud to the case? anyone else run across this?  it looks like my cylinder was leaking also...  |

Herb, It can also be a leak somewhere about and just leave the trail there due the movement on of the air. Found my oil leak last year - the top of a valve cover! Make sure your's are flat.
