(IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) whilst rebuilding my rear calipers I seemed to have discovered that the threads on that thing? inside the piston are stripped. Not terrible but enough to stop it from threading back on the adjusting screw. Any one know where I can find a 7x1.75 tap to chase this thing. At least thats what size I believe it to be.
NAPA does'nt have a listing so I don't imagine any of the run of the mill parts houses would either. I can have one made through Tacoma Screw for about $100 but that's pretty spendy for a piece I will probably use once for about a minute. Any suggestions/help/info before I bite the bullet and cough up the dough would be greatly appreciated. |
