I picked up an older 911 front end to install so maybe I can stop when I need to. I noticed the rotors have a pretty deep ridge around the outer edge like you normally see from alot of wear by the pads. My 911 buddy tells me that these rotors are made this way to help hold the pads but I have a little trouble believing that.
Does anyone agree with that?
