I want to dry sump my type 4 but I don't know how to get around the fact that the oil out from the pump is right where the engine mount is. I have seen a picture of someone who built a entirely new engine bar/suspension package but I was hoping there was an easier solution. Has anyone been able to get the stock engine bar to work?
Thanks |

If you check the race car article I have on the Pelican site I think there is a pict showing the front mounted oil pump. I actually used a three stage pump from Autocraft with two suctions and one pressure. I ended making an engine mount by curring and reshaping a stock one and things were very tight. When we did my big four back in 1998 no one made a type four mount so you could use a dry sump pump, maybe someone does today but everything I found was for type 1's.
