have you tried cleaning it? Sometimes it's just oil and gunk that's seeped in side. You can take the cover off, use an electric safe degreases (not brake cleaner dummy), and then inspect the tracks for wear).
It helped my old 1.8L clear up some flatspots and heistation. |
