Yep, I put a steering column from a '74 into my '73 and now the wipers seem to be a in "intermittant mode" all the time. I noticed that one of the electrical connections on the '74 column has only 4 pin whereas the '73 had 5 pins. I'm not sure if these cars actually had intermittant capability or maybe it's part of the window washer system.
Does anyone know if this is the case? Was the column for the '73 a one year only?

Yes the 914 had a intermittant mode as an option. I think early 73 had the same

column as my 72, later 73 and up had the same column. There are guys here that

have done this same conversion. Including the intermittant function. Do a search.
