1971 914/4 1.7 with DJET - question is, does this year have the idle contol adjustment pot/screw on/near the ECM? If so, where's it located? I've been trying to fine tune and methodically work out some idle issues. I thought it would be good to know the status on that as I moved forward.

Obviously, I know where the ECM is - I've just never seen that adjustment feature in the near vacinity.

Thanks.

I don't think the 71 1.7L ECU had the idle mix screw. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

My '73 2.0 has one. Car runs best with it turned all the way to the right.
'73 may have been the first or only year, I'm not sure which. I do know the MPS and CHT are unique tot he '73 2.0.
